Modifying an OS Process

This topic describes the procedure to modify OS process configuration information.

Before you begin this task:
You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to modify an OS process.


You can edit the name and JVM Arguments associated with an OS Process.

  1. On CUSP > My Applications, click (System Resource Manager) . The System Resource Manager window appears and lists the available Service Containers in the Service Containers App Palette.
    Note: Alternatively, you can click to view the existing Service Containers.
  2. Click in the App Palette. Manage OS Process window is displayed.
  3. Select a Monitor Service from the drop-down list. Available OS Processes are listed in the OS Process - <Monitor Service Name> box.
  4. Click the OS Process you intend to modify. OS Process Properties - <OS Process Name> group box is displayed, with the associated properties.
  5. Modify the OS Process details, as required, and click on Save button. Refer to OS Process Configuration Interface for information on OS process configuration details.
    The selected OS Process is modified.
